Some quick answers to quick questions related to Aviation. - First post was on March 28 2011 ("What is NASA?"). *********************************************** Note: Almost all of the information I placed here are from compilation of schoolworks which the author/s is/are not indicated so I cannot mention them individually. However, at the back of the book, is a list of its references I placed below (as Default References). The rest, I got from the internet or dictionaries that I indicate as sources. I am not a know-all in this field. I just read, summarize, and post. Thanks for visiting!

What is Shear (or shearing) Stress?

Shear is the stress caused by forces tending to slip or slide one part of a material in respect to another part. This is the stress that is placed on a piece of wood clamped in a vise and you chip away at it with a hammer and chisel. This type of stress is also exerted when two pieces of metal, bolted together, are pulled apart by sliding one over the other or when you sharpen a pencil with a knife. The rivets in an aircraft are intended to carry only shear. Bolts, as a rule, carry only shear but sometimes they carry both shear and tension.

The latest on the music of Kristian Stephen Crown

Why I Need You (I'd Break Easily) updated

The mixing of Why I Need You (I’d Break Easily) was edited to balance the background audios including the beatbox and the backup vocals. Slight modifications in the lyrics were also made to correct the grammar (thanks to my facebook friend). The new refrain would be:

I’d break easily

If You were not here by my side

I’d bleed easily

If You were not here by my side

It is still the same mixing so there is no change in the tune and accent/pronunciation. Hehe…

You may listen to and download this latest version of the song here.

I’m still working on my next single which is in Filipino (Tagalog) and the next one after that which is in English. I am really excited about sharing them to you so hopefully, I can finish them both soon.

Thanks for your support!
