Some quick answers to quick questions related to Aviation. - First post was on March 28 2011 ("What is NASA?"). *********************************************** Note: Almost all of the information I placed here are from compilation of schoolworks which the author/s is/are not indicated so I cannot mention them individually. However, at the back of the book, is a list of its references I placed below (as Default References). The rest, I got from the internet or dictionaries that I indicate as sources. I am not a know-all in this field. I just read, summarize, and post. Thanks for visiting!

What is Airplane’s Longitudinal Axis?

Longitudinal axis of an airplane is an imaginary line that extends lengthwise through the fuselage from the nose to the tail. Movement of the airplane around the longitudinal axis is known as “roll” ans is controlled by the movement of the ailerons. To move the ailerons, the pilot turns the control either clockwise or counter clockwise (or the control stick either right or left). This action lowers the aileron on one wing and raises the aileron on the other. The aileron that is deflected downwards increases the lift of the wing and thus the wing rises. The aileron that is deflected upwards decreases the lift of the wing and thus the wing descends. This movement occurs during turns.

I Will Wait Video

Hi!
I recently asked someone on youtube to make me a video for my song I Will Wait after seeing her video (or photo sets, I dunno how to call it.. hehe..) for Chasing Cars by Snow Patrol.

She has been nice to give the effort and do me a favor. Thanks brokensmile9530!

Thanks friends for your support!

:)
